Choosing the just right school for your elementary-age child is a critical decision that will impact the life of your child for eternity. Lithonia Adventist Academy is passionate about molding the characters of young people to be active participants in this world and citizens in the kingdom of God. The primary purpose of Seventh-day Adventist education is to provide opportunities for students to love Jesus as their Savior, and to transfer that love in service to others - for the joy of service in this world and for the higher joy of wider service in the world to come.
Our qualified and committed staff provides quality Christian education in a nurturing environment that supports the success of every student. Students are daily challenged with a rigorous and relevant curriculum that encourages the application of instruction in meaningful and practical ways. Our extra-curricular activities engage our students to think outside the box and be innovative in using their gifts and talents to learn, create and make contributions to their communities.
Plans for the future include but are not limited to the following:
Continue developing our STREAMS (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Arts and Math, Service) program to empower all students to be change agents in their communities.
A development plan to build and move the school to its own facility.
A five-year strategic plan to grow and expand our program from our immediate communities into other mission fields.
Continue supporting our teachers as they pursue higher education so they can deliver instruction using best practices.
