Felicia Stewart is a product of Adventist Christian education and a proud graduate of Oakwood University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She later earned a Master of Education with an emphasis in Reading from Brenau University. She is professionally certified by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists and holds a Highly Qualified Teaching License in the State of Alabama.
For more than 11 years, Felicia has faithfully served in Christian education throughout the South Atlantic Conference. As Principal of Lithonia Adventist Academy, she is committed to fostering academic excellence, Christ-centered leadership, character development, and strong partnerships between the school, families, and the church..
Passionate about literacy, Felicia has received specialized training in the Science of Reading and Structured Literacy through the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education (IMSE). She is the author of Ashley’s Journey to Joy, a children’s book inspired by the loss of her father as a child, and is the creator of Teaching Fabulously, a social media platform dedicated to supporting early readers, equipping educators, and encouraging families through literacy resources, children’s read-alouds, and educational content. She also provides professional development and literacy training for educators.
One of Felicia’s greatest testimonies is God’s faithfulness. After surviving a near-fatal car accident, she experienced God’s grace and healing in remarkable ways. That journey strengthened her faith, deepened her dependence on God, and reminded her that He still had a purpose for her life. Today, she is grateful that God spared her life and continues to use her experiences to encourage others and bring glory to His name.
Felicia and her husband, Harold, are the proud parents of Hailey. She is honored to be part of First Lithonia Church family and looks forward to partnering with the church, school, and community for God’s glory!
